Today, The UAE Sports Science and Sports Medicine Center held a consultative meeting with the Dubai Police General Command at the headquarters of the General Authority for Sports to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in training and qualifying Dubai Police sports personnel by leveraging the educational and training programs organized by the center.
The meeting was attended by Abdullah Mahyouh, Chairman of the Interim Committee for the Center's Management; Dr. Ahmed Al Ameri, Director of Specialized Training and Member of the Center's Scientific Committee; and Ibtisam Musabah, Center Administrator. Representing Dubai Police General Command, the meeting was attended by First Lieutenant Ahmed Khalfan, Senior Administrator of the Sports Rehabilitation Department at Dubai Police; Mohammed Ishaq, Technical Director at Dubai Police; and Faisal Ayoub, Technician of the Sports Rehabilitation Department. The two parties agreed to sign a partnership agreement stipulating the allocation of study seats for Dubai Police personnel within the programs launched by the center, which will provide training solutions for Dubai Police sports personnel.
Abdullah Mahyouh emphasized the importance of strengthening the center's partnerships to contribute to achieving its goals of promoting sports culture among various cadres and creating new and capable administrative leaders. He continued, "The center works to qualify sports cadres in various disciplines, whether technically, administratively, or refereeing. This cooperation embodies the shared desire to support the qualification of cadres and provide an appropriate environment conducive to the development of work in the sports sector."
First Lieutenant Ahmed Khalfan pointed out the importance of the programs launched by the center, especially since they are accredited and certified by the General Authority of Sports, the umbrella organization for sports activities in the country.
It is worth noting that the Emirates Center for Sports Sciences and Sports Medicine was recently relaunched by the General Authority of Sports. The center also launched two specialized diploma programs called the "Comprehensive Sports Training Program" and the "Future of Sports Management Program," with the aim of empowering sports cadres and preparing new sports leaders.
